Exocad III – Advanced All-on-X Restorative and Removable Prosthetics
Overview
This course takes the All-on-X practice and optimizes design and manufacturing of the interim and the final prosthesis. Lab costs for All-on-X restorations can be extremely high, but by designing in house and outsourcing to milling centers, the costs could be cut by 80%. This is a restorative course, so students are highly encouraged to attend the All-on-X surgical course to understand the basic concepts of treatment planning and execution.
Learning Objectives
- Creating mockups in exocad (edentulous and partially edentulous)
- Review of scanbody options and direct to MUA restorations
- 3D printing of day of surgery provisionals
- Scanning vs. Photogrammetry
- Direct to MUA options
- Exocad design of All-on-X final restorations
- Oursourcing the milling and finishing of designs
